Make it Work: Tuxedo Pants

Hello All!

I must apologize for my absence last week in posting here, I was away in Napa with my A Capella group, singing melodious tunes to the masses (well, not masses, but there was definitely a huge turnout!), and I was unable to access my blog :'(
But this week, as requested, here's a new edition to the "Make it Work" collection, this time featuring Tuxedo Pants.  Normally thought to be a piece for more formal affairs, these slacks can be quite versatile.  Add a slouchy sweater and sneakers for a casual look, or a pair of bright pumps and a bralet top for a sleek and sophisticated ensemble!

As always, to help decide what item next week's collection will feature, cast your vote in the poll on the sidebar.

Q of the Day:  What's your top tip on taking a formal piece to something more wearable for everyday affairs?

Keep Classy and Chic,
Liv.

Make it Work: Chunky Knits

Happy Friday (well, know that it's past 12, Saturday really!) Everyone!
I hope this week has found you all well :)  As requested by the votes in last week's poll, here's a second edition to my "Make it Work" collection - this week's featured item being Chunky Knits.  From being paired with skirts, to high-waisted shorts, to skinny jeans, Chunky Knits are versatile, while always managing to add a level of chicness to any outfit.  Add this closet staple to your wardrobe today!  BE sure to vote in the poll on the sidebar to help decide what next weeks featured piece will be :)

Q of the Day:  What's your favorite way to rock a Chunky Knit?

Keep Classy and Chic,
Liv.

Make it Work: Doc Martens

Make it Work: Doc Martens by livestosea on polyvore.com

Happy Weekend Everyone!
As a college student, this has been a particularly busy week for me, it being the first of mine back on campus since going home for Winter Break.  Since I've worked so very hard this week (no sarcasm, none at all...), what better way to unwind then putting together a collection of clothing sets for your viewing pleasure!  These four looks are part of a new segment I'm doing on my Polyvore account, called "Make it Work".  Each week, I'll be taking one key piece (such as a pair of Doc Martens), and incorporating it into 3-4 different looks.  It could be a pencil skirt, or perhaps a beret, but you'll have to vote in the sidebar to help me decide what will be the next item to be featured - I love to get feedback from you guys!

Q of the Day - Which of the above sets would you rock your Doc Martens with?

Keep Classy and Chic,
Liv.
